So how does a dome work with your situation.. I constantly see people having hard times with their humidity domes and I do think they have their place. I want to help create a place where we can share our success and failures. Please share your relative humidity outside the dome and temps, and medium so others can relate! <3

i use domes when i am waiting for seeds to break soil and for clones. for seeds i prepare a seedling mix sow the seeds (not only cannabis) water throughly put the dome on till i see bumps on the surface. i also let it breathe for a couple of minutes everyday and i keep the vents open all the time.

for clones i also let it breathe a couple of minutes everyday and i keep the vents open all the way.

my rh is 40% in the seedling area and 50% in cloning area. temps change and i dont really take temps of my clone area but i’d say 15-18°C for clones and 22-23°C for seedling area.

anyway not hating on domes, domes are nice and required on some occasions but as soon as i see bumps on soil i ditch them in order to prevent damping off and other fungal issues.

Dome for clones. I have some seedlings that doubled in size overnight, literally... gave them 6.4ph water with roots excellurator, fox farms grow big, super thrive, gnatrol and great white, all at low dose... i have no idea which one of these nutes and additives did this wonderful thing to them, but I thought I'd share it somewhere...
