TH-SEEDS mk ultra X bubblegum in a waterfarm

The nitrogen burn has finally surfaced & it's really obvious I've over fed in spite of reduced nutes so tonight I drain the units & put the PINKPANTIES on a reduced seedlings schedule & a reduced schedule for the mk- ultra X bubblegum its new growth has lightened considerable when my lense fell out it not only mowed down the pink panties but it split the main stalk on the mk bubblegum right down the middle of the trunk I tied it up & life goes on it's been about 4 days & nothing's died yet hopefully as I get the nutes in perspective my rate of growth will pick up the mk- bubblegum is almost there image.jpegimage.jpeg

In order 450 on the pink panties & 498 on the mk- bubblegum the pink panties is giving me the branching out I like so much both plants are here to stay & are about opposite in structure but getting all the kinks out is mandatory before I can go on & use the waterfarm to its potential I'm starting to get a lot of enjoyment out of my room & moved my fishing bucket stool in I've started training the panties today & trial fitted my screen final position is gonna be raised higher my tds meters are really earning their way & I now see why their so important to this method of growing throwing the gh- feeding schedule out the window was a good move if you over feed all growth stops & things lock up I've lost a lot of time this grow but I've learned some hard lessons to be applied in future growsimage.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpegimage.jpeg

My tomato plant is moving outside in the next couple of days I put my nutes&addatives from the waterfarms in this homemade dwc with a drippers that works off an aquarium air pump just like the waterfarm but discharge is from a single hose instead of a drip ring image.jpeg

My light came on @ 7:00pm. so I went out to check on things where I tied the PINKPANTIES down the growth has already turned back upward even half dead she responds to topping & training I'm liking her more all the time 2 things concern me about the mk- bubblegum the first is its growth characteristics it does not respond to topping or training which seems to slow her growth second is I've never had any finished product she might not make a second round PINKPANTIES is high grade smoke & really has a lot of branches she should scrog very well all the new growth looks nice she is not well enough to trim the damaged growth yet but as she recovers I'm expecting good things the mk- bubblegum is getting wider but upwards she's slow she would be an excellent choice for a room with limited height requirements image.jpeg image.jpeg

not a lot of change but in the upcoming week I should start seeing predictable growth I couldn't of picked strains more opposite of each other the mk-bubblegum is supposed to have some og in it but I'm not seeing it the panties has very og like characteristics in itimage.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

the weather is heating up 96 degrees f. Running my light at night is paying off as well as the fans I got a high temperature of just under 80 degrees f. With the light on which I can work with I'm really hoping to get at least some stretch from the mk- bubblegum after the flip I'll keep topping the panties & tying as well hoping to get them close to the same height got the tomato outdoors now she seems to like itimage.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

This is a good looking scrog setup. Definitely want to try this next grow but I was afraid it would make flushing the soil difficult towards the end... Guess you won't ever have that problem given your setup

They're getting there now Herk, the MK is looking a lot better! And it was the same with LA Con, she didn't respond well to training at all. I've found out a lot more from this strain since growing her that I probably should have researched before, but oh well, onwards and upwards! Loving that SCROG screen as well, great job!

Yeah they seem to have a lot in common but I am gonna eventually gonna get this figured out & move forward but I'm really thinking I'm gonna pick a new strain for next grow that being said I'm starting to get enjoyment out of tending to my little grow

The learning curve to this continues to give me an ass kicking except I now identified where the left hook is coming from the tomato that I used recycled nutes @ ppm384 is outgrown the weed so I'm reducing my ppms to low 400 ish I don't think it's gonna hurt either plant all this educational experience is gonna make my next grow a better event image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

The damn tomato plant is defiantly stealing the show living on waste nutes@ 386 ppm. It has roughly doubled in size in 4 days I think there is a lesson to be learned here meanwhile the stuff I screwed up is starting to resemble a grow slow but sure image.jpegimage.jpeg

the pinkpanties is gaining momentum & I look for it to overtake the mk- bubblegum possibly by the end of this feeding cycle I've went back to the gh flora series nutes & tap water ppm low to mid 400's no problems 6 days in I've literally gallons of flora- nutes & additives when they get flowering good I'll be finishing them off with the soul synthetics nutes the tomato is growing on leftovers that consists in various parts of flora,floranova& soul synthetics watered down to the 380'sppm. & growing like crazy in the long run I'm predicting the pinkpanties is gonna steal the show image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

this is day#3 of 100+ f. Heat I still have vents to install & 1 wall to insulate but so far so good nighttime lights on temp still under 90f. I've came to the conclusion that the mk- bubblegum might not be for me & soon as the pinkpanties is ready to flip I'm gonna flip pinkpanties is growing & looking a bit hungry it's gaining daily very light in color where the mk- bubblegum is staying dark in spite of lighter feeding I've got some organic spray as somethings been eating image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

sprayed with the wal-mart garden safe stuff I've used it on spidermites in the past its organic & safe to use gonna feed tomorrow @ low 400 ppm. by the end of the next feed cycle I'm gonna seriously consider flipping the light had to add water today as the 3 days of 100+ temps. Has caused evaporation as well as plants getting a bit thirsty pruned a few leaves off the mk- bubblegum as well the pinkpanties continues to branch out & in overall foliage is gonna steal the show in the upcoming weeksimage.jpegimage.jpeg
