You should think about a brain bucket my friend.
yeah I really do need to consider upping my nute capacity as at this point leaving for a couple of days isn't a good idea &I this is the time of year I like to visit the high country, fish ,camp & stuff

changed my nutes this morning 1/3- gh floranova & 2/3- soul synthetic nutes gonna be phasing- out gh. in favor of the soul synthetic which is largely made up of guano, kelp & alphalfa extract I upped the ppm. to 1180 it is my highest yet if I was using all gh nutes I would be worried but the N- P- K numbers of the soul synthetic nutes is significantly lower across the board but the growth is nice looking in spite of the lower percentage of nute content I'm liking it plant is starting to smell like grape/berry- skittles in spite of only just starting to bud later on she is gonna reek I'm sure image.jpegimage.jpeg

I finally got everything tied down by tomorrow things should be turned back upwards in their final configuration I tied the left yesterday & the right today the bud sites are getting ready to develop almost turned to nubbins she is drinking a gallon of liquid daily even though this is not known to be a yielder I think I'm going to do ok.View attachment 3736204
Looking fab. If she is drinking half the res daily you are on your path to a 300g plus plant. Keep it up dude.

I'm starting to feel pretty good about things did a bit of traveling today & visited a friend who recently switched to 2 - 1200w. Led's & an 8- bucket waterfarm set up he gave me the factory res & float chamber which I'm gonna hook to 2 waterfarms in my next grow she is really drinking up I'll be back in the morning with pics here is pics of my friends led's image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

I've got my res. capacity problem solved gonna hook it all up today I was given a complete 8 site waterfarm res. I removed the float & am using the bottom 1/2 probably triple the capacity I have now this should work out good for a single waterfarm or 2 of them if I use both she is still drinking a lot of nutesimage.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

What sort of yield is the LED's pulling off out of interest mate?

Those 8 bucket water farms I had an absolute disaster with years ago and have read a lot of failures... So be careful with it. Tbh in my opinion your better putting 2 water farms and giving girls the space to develop thoroughly. Sativa and some patience you can get huge trees lol

this is his first run with the led's & the waterfarms as well he is using them as individuals 2 -1200w. led's & 8 waterfarms in a 4x8 area right next to 2 1000w. hps. the led's & waterfarms are are outperforming the hps on about 1/2 the power consumption the vipar is not a high- end led but it's performing well in his case I'm considering the 600w. version which draws around 300w. to run my stand & screen are set- up to run 2 waterfarms side-by side or 1 in the center as I am now only advantage I see by running 2 units is a reduction in veg. time to fill the screen

image.jpeg by adding the reservoir I'm now ble to go a few days without topping off as nutrient capacity is now 6 gallons or about 23 liters & it uses an aquarium pump driven circulation pump that works on the same principle as the drip column I'm not fond of air stones or electronic pumps in my res.image.jpeg

I'm really liking the reservoir I'm gonna see how many days it can go without topping off right now , she is consistently uptaking 1 gal+ daily so I'm figuring I could leave for 3 days without issues I'm really liking the waterfarm & the only shortcoming is the 2 gal. res. capacity my canopy is not as even as I would like but it's filling in nice I'm also liking the soul synthetic nutes&addatives that were given to me by a friend but feel the big swell additive is overpriced @ $50.00 a quart it has silica extracted from bamboo in it I have a cornucopia of nutes&addatives I'm gonna get used up then my goal is to simplify the nutes I once made the mistake of buying AN big bud & after a while did a comparison & the plants that I didn't give it to did as good as the ones I used it on & im sure the same holds true to additives in general I'm starting to get bud development the most interesting part of the grow is coming & in the upcoming weeks I'm gonna pick my next strain & I'm trying to decide on a reasonable priced led & it's looking like a vipar spectra either 600 or 900w. image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

the stage is set & my work on the canopy is about to show some promise I can now do supercropping to maintain it if you brush a stem near any of the bud sites the smell is grapes & it's pretty strong as predicted my res is about a gallon+ low this morning I'm wanting to see how many days I can go before I have to top offimage.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

I moved my hydro tomatoes & the mkultraXbubblegum to my patio today & although I wanted to wait another day to top off my res. the pinkpanties is drinking heavily (3gal. in 48hrs.) so I did a top off I'll check ph./ppm.tonight bud development is going good soon I'm gonna trim off anything that resembles popcorn I'm not big on defoliantation but will prune enough to ensure the buds get lightimage.jpegimage.jpeg

finally I'm getting something that resembles a grow & can now focus on the future that is gonna include a larger grow (2 plants) & a led probably a 900w. vipar toget me started my goal is to find a strain that out yields the pinkpanties but still has a high quality level gg#4, chemdawg & unless the pinkpanties gives me less than 6 oz. I'm considering sunset sherbet that is pinkpanties-X- platinum girlscoutcookies that has an improvement in yield over the pinkpanties but has a lot of the same qualities I'm also gonna drill more holes in my waterfarms & concentrate on seeing what they can do but for now my single plant scrog is working & my next step is gonna be pruning off small stuff between the screen & the top of my canopy that at best is gonna make popcorn I'm starting to see results for my workimage.jpegimage.jpeg

still requires 3 gal. top off every 48 hrs fed @ 1180ppm now ppm down to 880 for a single plant & 6 gal. nutrient volume I think that might be ok we're in the middle of another heat wave 107.f yesterday & 109.f expected today I'm back to running my light at night in spite of all that things are going well I did a lot of pruning off the non productive bottom growth this morning image.jpeg

Nice! You did a good jog at turning those around. Scottyballs inspired me years ago also. Water farm and floranova bloom got me some of my healthiest best yielding crops. I also had trouble running the 8 bucket setup, went to 2 buckets and bigger plants and did awesome. I think the new water farms are designed a lil different. But yea good job man. Subbed!

thanks it has been a learning experience & you're right 2 plants/waterfarms & a little modification to my room is my goal but you've gotta crawl before you can walk I'll be using 2 farms & 1/2 of the 8 site reservoir (bottom) & a vipar spectra either the 900 or the 600 I'm still giving that thought these are lower end led's but people are using them & getting results if I get a bumper crop the California light works 440 would be my choice
