I took a look at my seeds and have 25 seeds that have cracked open and is showing their tap root the other 4 haven't cracked yet and 1 more kinda looks like its crakced

sorry to tell ya that, but ur gonna need WAY MORE LIGHTS man!!

Yea i agree with cheetahman, going to need a bunch of cfls for that grow. Might want to upgrade lights to something else cause that's a lot of germinated seeds yo....

I don't even half half the lights hooked up , I did some math and I'll have 15,300 lumens in that small veg area

7 , 15w , 6,500K (900 Lumes each) CFL
7 , 13w , 2,700K (900 Lumes each) CFL
1 , 42w , 2,700K (2,700 Lumes each)

lumens are lumens! dun add them to ur equals! 1200 lumens are 1200 lumens, nomater how many bulbs u have!

but that will be enough light to gro some plants...not all of them lol

I know I've read that they don't add up. I might have maybe 10 females but I don't plan on having them tall

when u gro from seeds, the plants might get too big before they are mature enough to produce quality flowers

that's where topping , FIM (is this right?) and cloning comes into plan

I haven't quite found a proper way to top I don't know exactly where to cut can anybody explain it can anybody explain it so I can understand it.

if you want to top its really easy!!!

just cut the top of the plant off. somewhere in betweeen branches. then the all the side brances will start to grow more, and the plant will continue to grow up but also will grow outward. you can top the side branches too. i have topped a few plants a couple of times. its great, i will most likely top every plant until someone shows that a certain strain does better untopped. it will take longer to veg if you keep topping but there will be plenty more bud sights and there for can be worht it!!! i would think it would be best if you keep the topping down to no more than 1/3 of the plant. but i don't know for sure.. chop chop
