Just wondering which do you like better Timewreck or Vortex?
they don't really compare imo. i am not sure where I am at with either so they are all being run again as 10 gallons. the 4 vortex are in bloom now and the 4 timewreck are in veg. once each full size run is done I will update both threads with lab results and final thoughts and picks.

we are not done yet...

:-)

Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words. I'll be adding to all these threads with each consecutive run. Updates to Vortex, TimeWreck and JillyBean will be soon :-)

Hey Hovering, at what stage of the amber alert did you pull these girls? just wondering how far to take with my timewreck, took a tester at the end of week 6 and was pretty blown away at its potency hehe but it could also be the fact that i havent had anything for like 3 months hehe.

I am looking for the trich heads to all be cloudy with amber creeping in at about 25-30%

I took all our TimeWreck testers down at Day 60 but will look at each pheno individually with our next run in 10 gallon Smart Pots.

TimeWreck is crazy potent, you should be very happy with her.

[GROW 201]

All 4 of our TimeWreck phenos were out of this world potent so we decided to run them all again, this time in 10 gallon Smart Pots to really assess their potential in our garden. We will smoke report and lab test all 4 at finish to complete our comparison and pick our final TimeWreck phenotype.

Our goal with the 10 gallon Smart Pots is to develop big bushy plants for our bloom room that will finish in the 3-4 foot tall range. We want to slow the vegetative growth while boosting the root growth. Our plants veg for 2 months in Smart Pots under a 1000MH on a light mover so we need to really keep an eye on tight nodal growth and which branches will eventually be our main colas in bloom. We do very little pruning during veg, leaving the pruning until about week 6-7. We want all the growth we can get right now, under the soil.

To accomplish this we use a combination of Supercropping and LST (Low Stress Training). Our plants transfer from rooting in 18oz soil cups to being placed off center in their new Smart Pot. From here they are Supercropped by gently bending and training them over to 90 degrees so their stem runs along the surface of the soil. From here branches are Low Stress Trained with "Skyhooks" (8" metal wire bent into shepherds hooks) that are used to train the plant into position.

Let's check in on the TimeWreck at 28 days of veg - V28. These plants were just LST'd so they are floppy but will recover nicely.

hmmm... i have only the 1 gallon runs to compare which is difficult since I don't supercrop or lst my 1 gallons.

my 10 gallon Cheese Quake run wasn't managed properly but would absolutely work well with lst and will be next time she is run.

timewreck is looking a little more like vortex with the thinner stems, cheese quake is sturdier imo.

Thanks GG.

And Sweet... your set up sounds tight. Our TimeWreck are just into flower now and looking absolutely incredible. I will begin updating this thread again in the next week or two while we track and finish our 4 phenos in 10 gallon smarties this time. Also running my Trainwreck next to them for comparison :-)

hovering just curious why you think timewreck doesn't seem to get a ton of love from the weed nerds. is it as dank as the rest and just not the cool kid on the block at the moment or does it not stand out compared to other tga strains? out of all your grow threads i've got to say timewreck LOOKS the dankest as far as frosty goodness but i don't hear you or others calling it your fave or really singing it's praises compared to other strains.

Good question.. I am not sure, not the cool kid at the moment most likely.

Personally I am still working my phenos but have VERY high regard for Timewreck. I may have a piece on this strain coming up in Skunk Mag actually. It is a fine line for me when it comes to TGA, with keepers in everything I have run but favorites have to come to the surface with so many strains. Cheese Quake is my favorite TGA but it is constantly being challenged by others. Jillybean and Plushberry are high up there for me right now because I have found power and elite profiles in them.

When our Timewreck finish their next flower cycle one of them may join our leader board... we will see.

That's what I figured.... just surprised there's not more hype... but maybe it just got overwhelmed by the other new TGA releases that came out as well :)

i think everyone just got more excited about the bubba kush crosses. i've got one tw in flower(the other turned male) but if its as potent as i read, im popping the other 3 seeds i have. its easily out growing everything in my tent(qush, dairy queen, og13 and sweet black angel).
