TGA Strawberry Daiquiri

Has anyone had experience with this hybrid? It's supposed to be (kyle kushman's) Strawberry Cough x Jack The Ripper (subcool's). Not alot of info online, but I have 48 free seeds from a promotion on the 'tude. I'm curious about the keeper phenotypes, flowering times etc. I'll be growing 40 plush Berry and 40 ace of spades seeds alongside it, I'm looking for a few males to breed into my Ace-Malawi and Panama landraces, I'd appreciate any info other than the page subcool's got on his site.

Funny, I found a solid 5-6 keepers from 22 female plants, and about 3-4 of 22 females were herm prone. After 2 years I decided to give away my cuts, I still have access to seeds and the 4 best females, smells ranged from strawberry liquor and chocolate to banana and Tootsie Pop. Multiple phenotypes that I consider hashplants, one I've found in f2 which hits harder than the f1, soon making seeds with the f2 I made, f3's by 2020.

Do you have any more strawberry daiquiri beans man?
Not at this moment, but come winter time I will be making seeds using the Daiquiri. I'm testing some of the S.D. hybrids I made with Jungle Cookies and Sour Mandarina, both of which were also very prone to Herm under stress, but still excellent smoke and worth seeing how they improve or fuck up the recipe.

I like where you are going with this.
I haven't had experience with the Strawberry Daiquiri specifically, but have grown Jack the Ripper ( a parent of your strain) a few times..you should read one contributors review on it on Leafly..Starts out "Makes you paranoid as Fuck!"..lol..the guy is hilarious..
I liked the JTR strain so much that I've crossed it with White Label's White Gold..the beans were massive..White Widow and a Blue Dream..
That said, Jack the Ripper, can have a slight Hermie tendency as I've had to pinch off a couple of balls on a couple plants.

Sounds interesting. :)

Every single jtr hybrid I've grown has this tendency, from Agent Orange to Ace of Spades, to Strawberry Daiquiri, I tried to select the most stable and which is why I always stress test my plants, the plants that Herm I kill and the ones that survive I select based on quality. My F2's were more stable than the f1 for sure, my keeper doesn't like to self pollinate it seems, I've broken stems on accident, super cropped during flower to widen it out, low temps in the 40-50's during a power outage and it still didn't budge, only thing that does it is if you take it a month past harvest time, then it produces bananas.20190626_125308.jpg

These are the turpentine pheno, nice and strong but lacked flavor, tasted like tar/hash/pine.

This is the Keeper "Guava Paste/passion fruit" phenotype, hits the fastest and the hardest, lasts a long time. These were flowered in the summer under 80-90 degree heat, the colors they show in the winter will be interesting for sure! I don't smoke for colors, but they're damn nice to look at.

Have you tried collodial silver spray to feminize seed? They say forcing a plant to create stress to hermie will perpetuate the hermie trait, where as CS as a trigger will have less of a tendency.

I don't make fem seeds, I seprate males and collect pollen in another house, I also keep clones and let the mother's show their stuff and kill the clones if they're not up to my standards. 3 harvest now with the F2 I kept and no seeds or ballsacks/bananas.

Sorry..I misunderstood.
I thought were trying ro create feminized pollen as opposed to stress testing..and having nanners result as a last resort when females are pushed for long time.
