TGA Sonic Screwdriver Review ... ish

I am making this post because couldn't really find that much info on TGA Sonic Screwdriver when I first decided to pop some beans, now I am about a week or so out from harvest so I wanted to share my findings. First the stats:
I only got one female, the rest of the seeds I have not started yet. I believe it to be one of the larger phenos, it did stretch quite a bit when put into flower.
I am using five gallon buckets, fox farm OF soil, and Bionacare nutes ( every other watering 1/2 recommended dose) I could of probably used more it didn't show any signs of nute burn. It did however start to loose its fan leaves a little earlier then any of the other strains I ran this time around. It was about week 5 all the bigger fan leaves yellowed off, it is at least a ten weeker from what ive seen so I attempted to give it a little more Nitrogen without success. Never the less the plant did very well.
I vegged for about 8 weeks from seed, then It was one of five under a 1000 watt, I did have some lighting issues this time around, loss of power at night so messed the timers up, anyway the strange lighting schedule that it received did not stress it out, did not throw any nanners and didn't really even stop growth, I had a jack skellington that was not so lucky, no nanners but after the lighting issue it took a week to get back to it.
All in all I would say this is probably top two TGAs ive grown ( timewreck was the other) , I still haven't harvest so I can be for sure but it is looking like one of the best yielders, smell is great, very little issues, I did not like how much it stretch's but that is expected from a sativa, buds are pretty dense I would recommend this to anyone from what I have seen so far, I will try to update with smoke report / lab report when its finished, any questions just ask ... and now the photos IMG_1997.JPG IMG_2007.JPG

so above is a photo of a female pennywise mixed with a male skywalker og kush. I crossed the two and then grew out its offspring, then I crossed the two best looking ( in veg) offspring and got this, I am really hoping that the CBD from the pennywise carried over, the smell and bud density is def. from the skywalker og kush, just a little project that I was messing with, I didn't want to make a new post for this so I figured id just toss it on this one. sorry for the low quality photo, I took it with my POS phone. I probably could of spent a lot more time and care on messing with the genetics of this one but it was more just I had a male skywalker so I figured id put it to use.

hey guys,
The yield was great, in fact I ran out of all my other strains and have had nothing but the sonic screwdriver for about a month now, I would almost go as far to say it was the best yield off one plant that I have ever gotten. buuuut I had a lighting issue so when I thought I flipped to 12/12 it was really like 16 hours of light and I didn't catch it until two weeks when I was like "huh it hasn't started flowering" . That said it still yielded way more then the Marionberry kush, the Headband and the Pennywise experiment.

The early yellowing issue that I had I found out after I inspected the roots, was due to root aphids :/ so I have been battling them pretty successfully, I have not found any flyers in two weeks .... but anyway since that was the case I am even more impressed with the yield and quality of the Sonic Screwdriver... As far as taste the Marionberry kush was hands down some of the best tasting weed I have had in a very long time. The Sonic Screwdriver had some funk to it, I kind of smell, I guess a little but maybe like rotten fruit or something, Oranges were not the first thing that came to mind

It did stretch a little but the buds were very nice, it was a bit of a battle with space, but my two weeks extra of veg did not help.

Not the best tasting TGA strain ive had (Marionberry was however) but it was so far the best yielding. The smoke is pretty good, after smoking the same strain for a month or so straight tho kind of builds a tolerance I guess. It still def. does the job nicely and I know my buddys loved it too...

I would grow this again no doubt, especially doing more of a pheno search (I got two females and both were very similar, although Ive read there are four main phenos) and knowing to expect the stretch, But I am telling you guys if you want some tasty taste the Marion berry was the fav. of mine and my girl and the few others that I let try it lol

my yield specifically is tuff to say, I don't really ever write it down or anything, I think I had four going and got about 12 or 13oz but its hard to say exactly

Also another note, the photos that I uploaded were from the first one I pulled, I think I put the one that's in the photos back into flower for about a week and then the other ones were in for about an additional week on top of that so the plants were harvested two weeks after photos, they def. plumped up a lot more with that 2 weeks
