Texas Abortion Law Ruled Unconstitutional..Federal Judge RULES!

i am not in any way "playing dumb", i wouldnt want to have to pay you your royalties on that Trademark Move.

the fact is, hyperbole from NPR (no agendas there, nope, not at all.) does not equate to "1 abortion facility in the state" or your even more asinine "Zero"

i only hear this claptrap from the loony left, not from rational news outlets, a google search for "Texas Abortion Providers" came back with a shitload of places, and a shitload of ridiculous assertio0ns which are patently false.

your typical knee jerk "You hate regulations until you can use them yourself" remark is as childish and absurd as any of your previous tantrums, it is what i have come to expect from you.

i dont like regulations in ANY function. they are a cheap cop-out by politicians who simply delegate the hard choices to faceless bureaucrats and henchmen.

the texas LEGISLATION is based on the judgement of the representatives of the people. is democracy no longer satisfactory now that it has rendered a decision you dont like?

if you feel so strongly, MOVE TO TEXAS and vote for "Good Democrats" like George Wallace and Al Gore Sr.
zero is not an asinine number, just ask the lone abortion clinic in mississippi that is struggling to stay open in the face of the GOP's newly discovered love of massive and unnecessary regulations.

again, you guys hate regulations, until you realize that you can use them to take away a woman's constitutionally protected right to abortion.

hypocrites, that is all you guys are.

and that will not change no matter how many of your Retarded Musings you randomly capitalize, you mentally deficient bigot.

and how many of them have already shut down or will have to shut down when they can no longer comply with the completely unnecessary regulations that the GOP suddenly discovered that they love?

see THAT'S ASININE

just another retarded attempt to deflect away from insupportable assertions and ignorant claims.

Mississippi, besides being a pain in the ass to type, is IRRELEVANT to the discussion at hand.

thats why you are also, irrelevant. you cannot stay on topic, and rely on rhetorical fallacies in place of reason logic and reading.

Beats me, I live in Cali just like you.

Can abortions not be performed in a Texas hospital? Must abortions be performed in clinics specifically set up for abortions?

they were set to close one dozen tomorrow however, the ruling supercedes this..papers have been filed today to overrule this judgement.

mississippi has one left now.

actually, mississippi is very relevant to this discussion, as the same tactics they used to rid their state of abortion clinics are now being used in texas.

and south dakota.

and ohio.

and kansas.

and north carolina.

and so many other places.

that you wish to ignore this hypocritical reality of republicans discovering their love for truly unnecessary regulations is not surprising.

past is prologue, and if the history can teach us anything on this issue it is that the GOP will take every dirty, backdoor method they can to make access to abortion as difficult as possible.

abortions are not mainstay business and are just one of the many, many tools used in family planning..clinics are not "set-up for abortions"..a misnomer (gee, i hope i spelled it correctly).

Now, all of a sudden, the constitution matters? I thought you lefties used the constitution to wipe your ass. You, Buck, have been the most strident in arguing that "no constitutional right is absolute", etc. Have you now renounced that as heresy?

By the way, could you point me to the part of the US constitution that mentions abortion, or pregnancy?

no, it is the right that only has two amendments (the second and the tenth).

no right is absolute. fighting words are not protected, nor is yelling 'fire' in a crowded theater. the right to bear arms may be tempered with background checks and limits on retarded people being unable to own guns.

and abortion is certainly limited, they even named the week up to which one may be performed.

can you point me to the part of the constitution which protects your right to be a racist bigot and try to disguise your disgusting views by falsely calling yourself a "libertarian"?

Not being on "the right" I won't answer definitively for them, but I would be extremely surprised to hear any "righty" advocate ignoring any part of the constitution.

After calling me the standard names and venting, hope you are feeling better, perhaps you could direct me to the part of the constitution that mentions abortion?

that's funny.

except for the 14th.

and 16th.

and 17th.

hell, i could show clips of fox news ignoring the 4th and 5th and 8th all day long.
I have many righty friends, and a few lefty friends. I have never heard a righty suggest ignoring any part of the constitution. I have heard countless lefties on RIU, you included, proclaim the constitution as the product of a bunch of old, racist white men, implying that it has no value.

I am really struggling with this "abortion is a constitutionally protected right" thing. Buck, you have obviously overlooked my repeated pleas for you to direct me to the part of the constitution that guarantees a right to perform an abortion?
