where can i find a cheap ph testing meter???

your local hardware store or garden center.

when i went to home depot they only had the stupid 1 time test strips that were about $20 because they also came with nitrogen tests and random other crap that i didnt really care about.

then i went to fred meyer's (kroger in some lands i believe) and they had moisture and ph pen meters for $7 each. great deal. glad i didnt suck it up and get the 1 time use strips.
