I don't agree. In a dry county or town, you can't buy alcohol, but that doesn't mean you can't legally possess alcohol. I think the ordinance will eventually get struck down and just end up costing the city a lot of money in lawyers fees. It reminds me of when a city on the Front Range (think it was Denver) passed a gun control law that forced hunters on the Eastern Plains to break the city's gun control law as they were driving through the town on their way to the mountains to go hunting. The judge who tried that case ended up siding with the hunters on the Eastern Plains. Greenwood Village has every right to ban dispensaries or 64 pot shops, but they'll soon find out that they can't restrict the flow of legal cannabis as it passes through town in cars, bicycles, etc...

never go there, just dont. save your self some money
It's not that easy. I-25 passes right through Greenwood Village. Let's say I live in Denver and I decide to take some legal cannabis with me when I drive down to Colorado Springs to visit some friends. Am I supposed to go out of my way and not drive through Greenwood Village because some stupid city council members passed an ordinance that violates my constitutional rights? Bring on the lawsuits.

They want to strictly regulate growing because of "mold and child safety concerns."
dumb assholes
It is like Parker saying they are going to inspect personal grows, lol.

Knock knock, "Can we inspect your grow?"
No, fuck off.

Good luck wasting a bunch of money, GV.

Im not an expert but im pretty sure having a red card you agree to having your garden inspected as they wish. Telling them to fuck off will only be asking to get bent over by them. The plant counters are cool if you are and be more likely to little bs slide. Just my. 02. They also don't flash bang patient's every visit either.

Having your red card doesnt give the law permission to come into your house to inspect....HOWEVER, caregiving for multiple patients does.

This will never hold up AM 64 is a colorado constitutional ammendment and any laws passed by cities have to follow that constitutional decree end of story they will lose this battle in so many ways, descrimination against people living in different cities, constitution, etc etc. you already cannot smoke in public just like drinking in public but driving through town with it in your car.... ridiculous. I swear the people of colorado voted to legalize cannabis right? leave it to the GV to say "no you can't do that, we know whats good for you"

No one has the right to inspect my grow room.
I wasn't talking about red cards.

Does the state have an address list on the books of all the grows and all the growers? If not, how do they know there's a grow to inspect?

They have a list of people who have red cards. They have no such list for those growing under 64.

Where did you hear that Chef? I haven't seen any mention of submitting driver's license info to the DOR.

under 64 its 6 plants per person so a couple can have 12 plants!
OK, I wasn't sure. We had a troll on the RI forum saying that Colorado laws are the most progressive in America and the law here sucks. They allow us 12 mature plants per patient here, more than I can fit in my flowering room in its current configuration! But we can only possess 2 1/2 oz. I've heard that sometimes 12 plants will yield more than that, but nobody told that to the hacks who wrote the law.

Hey chef, your weapon to defend against all of that is the 4th Amendment. They can't just walk into your house, even if they have a Big Brother evidence file a foot thick. Private property. No Warrant, No Entry! You have to invite them in (unless they hear danger inside, then they can blitz).

Cops knocking never sounds good. Just don't be a dumbass and shout out "come in!" Use the Bill of Rights and take a bite out of tyranny!

Daddy he once said to me, son you'll be hard workin man, mama she once said to me you'll do the best you can. Bop bop but one day I met a man who came to me and saiyed, hard work good and hard work fine, but first take care of head.... be ne nee nee neerr neerr nela la waw wa..." -Bradley
