I'm growing a single lady in plastic pot with hydroton in a 5 gallon bucket with an air stone. I've topped and trained her for about a month now. I'm about ready to flower and want to get a good water tester. I've been growing using one cap of vinegar per gallon of water but have been warned that this will lead to problems. Fox farm nutes are mixed with my water when I change res, roughly every week to two. I want to get a good tester to check my ph and possibly ppm. What is a good reliable brand that will work in water and soil? Also, is there a brand of ph up/down that is superior? Anything else that would be simple for a beginner to try or add to res for better buds? This girl is a monster compared to any that I've grown but they were all in soil so all input will be appreciated.
