On June 28, 2005, SEAL Team 10 was assigned to kill or capture a high ranking Taliban leader in the Hindu-Kush mountains. The SEAL team was made up of Michael P. Murphy, Marcus Luttrell, Danny Dietz and Matthew Axelson. Luttrell and Axelson were the team's snipers while Dietz and Murphy were the spotters.
"They were spotted by anti-coalition sympathizers, who immediately reported their position to Taliban fighters. A fierce gun-battle ensued between the four SEALs and a much larger enemy force with superior tactical position," the Navy release said. The SEALs radioed for help, and a responding Chinook helicopter was shot down by a rocket-propelled grenade, killing eight more SEALs and eight Army NightStalkers. My question is, if u watch the whole video, and listen to the aussie sounding fucker wrapped in towels head to toe ramble about our way of life, and how he utterly despises the US of A, is it wise to retreat and leave these guys alone? Won't they eventually come to us? Whether it be through South America, a viral attack, EMP, Nuke, or chemical warfare? I know i sound like a paranoid conspiracy theorist, and i like some of Ron Pauls ideas about returning to the constitution, but some of these radicalists who believe they have 72 virgins waiting for them simply do NOT consider us their equals. They think America is the great evil, and even though we are indeed the aggressors in a lot of situations, i feel like some of it is necessary. Taliban and other organizations need to be put down :/ 4 Navy SEALS supposedly took out between 100-200 of their attackers, fucking good riddens, and one guy still got away. RIP, giants amongst men, to all those who died in the war against terror.
