Agreed. It's much harder to deal with heat.
And color change is genetic, but it is also temperature related. Some strains will turn no matter what, some need cooler temps.
I actually love my winter grows because I can get the temps down to 50-60 degrees range at night, and I get great color. I think it looks cool, plus people love colored bud around my area.
