Tent sucking in.......

Hello, first time poster, long time reader, this is my first time, I have a 2x4x4 tent that hook up a hvac blower type fan to, have it pulling thru tent with one 6". And one 3" inlet ducts. But with fan running the tent is sucking in! Will this hurt anything??

My tent "sucks" inward too. Just make sure you have adequate room for inflow. And make sure air isn't pulling close to the walls of the tent as the suction could grab the tent walls and stop airflow all together. I needed to use 6" ducting and use one of the tents holes to use as an additional intake as the ports where not enough and the negative pressure was pulling way too hard on the tent.

it wont hurt anything if you have a sturdy tent. if youre worried about it make another inlet for air. ideally the inlets and outlets would be moving the same amount of air.

Be kind.

I made a frame out of pvc and elbows and bungee'd it to the inside of the tent's frame. Still sucks in a little but it's a lot better than it was.

4 pieces of hickory trim wedged between my tent and frame kept my 6x6x6' shit ass tent from collapsing it's frame. Adding more intakes like Grampa said will help too. You could also try adding a fan controller. Good Luck and Happy Growing!

Thanks all! I figured bout 160 cfm's to turn air over every 5 mins. My fan is doing about 1200cfms. So yeah new fan or more vents.
