S0 I have a 2 1/2×2 1/2×5' tent I currently use for veg/clones. I was wanting to get two more tents one for veg and one for flower. I'm currently running a Sativa dom strain that takes around 11-12 weeks to finish flower. I have a 1000 watt hps and probably going to get a t5 for veg I have cfl for my current tent that I will use for a mother or two. What size tent do you all think i should get for my flower and veg? I'm wanting to harvest every month or two.

Also at my job I have a supply of 2x4 and thees cardboard things that are 3'8×3'10×3'9. They are like boxes but they don't have flaps that fold in on the top and bottom. I was thinking about using the wood and cardboard to build a room. My only cost would be the mylar to completely cover the inside. The boards would hold all the weight the cardboard just to seel and insulate. What ate your thoughts on this

Hey don't use cardboard at all, and if you can fit it you would benefit from at least double in size for your flower tent simply because flowering plants are bigger than vegging plants

you shouldnt use cardboard because grow tents are ridiculously cheap in the grand scheme of things, and will last you a long time, given you take decent care of it. Much longer than any make shift carboard grow box. Not to mention grow tents come equipped to grow in; vents, reflective lining, light proofing. IMO, spend the $150 it costs for a decent tent and be done with it. each grow tent bought pays itself off within an hour of smoking your first harvest ;)

not to mention cardboard insulates, and could possibly just become an oven for your plants

The only reason I started thinking about it was because I have read alot about people using boxes to grow in. But I also thought it sounded like a bad idea. So thanks for the input

Besides fire, it would seem to invite mildew.
The 4ft T5HO is a good spec but the 2ft are lame in my opinion (but good for moms).

That is the trouble, most tents are metric and 120cm is less than four feet.
A lot of people build enclosures with 2x4s and Panda plastic sheeting.
