Tent Setups?

Anyone have any pictures or know where I can see some of other peoples grow tent setups?

I promise I searched around but was only able to find 1 actual picture.

Im throwing my tent up in the morning.

Is a 20x36x64 and I have a pretty good idea of how I am going to do it but wanted to see other setups first because I am sure I will want to make changes once I see what others have done.

I Don't have any pics but...

I have a 5' by 5' by 6' tall tent made by Jardin, called the dark room 150 I think or something..

Currently running 1 600 HPS. 8 plant ebb and grow system with 30 gallon trash can as resi.

I have the can right outside the tent. I run a carbon filter attached to my reflector suckin

around 300-400 cfm through a 6" can fan.

Eventually I want to run 2 400 or 2 600 on 12 plants. One problem I had was I was not

running my exhaust fan at night and was getting 80% relative humidity. After one

week of that I got the oh so fucking plant destroyer powdery mildew. So I suggest

running exhaust ALL DAY!

Oh yea one more thing is make sure you don't have the rip off hydro tent made in China. Check to make sure your tent isn't lined with PVC on the inside walls.
These tents are known to leech deadly chems into your plants....shit happened to me DON'T BUY TENTS ON EBAY GUYS!

I got my tent off ebay from HTG. They mentioned in the listing that their tents do not give off the deadly off-gassing. I even asked them just to double check and they said they didnt.

I grabbed a small tent because I plan to only 2 a couple plants at a time. Reason I was looking for setup ideas. Just see how people ran thei rlights/duct/fans/etc.

I am looking to do the exact same thing with a couple of plants at a time with the same tent. What light system are you going to use? What strains are you going with? I'll be following your posts closely because I'll be about 1 month or so behind you.

Well I just setup the tent and noticed that some things arnt as they described. Im waiting on a reply back from them.

They list is as four 4in vent ports and two 5in ports. However, I only have two 4in ports on the back, and the two top and side ports are all 6in. So my flanges are pretty much useless as I planned to run the cords thru the back bottom port.

Ive got 8 CFL lights Im going to be using for veg, 2 of them are on clamp reflectors I plan to hook to the sides of the tent, and the other 6 will be above the plants. I need to purchase a 400watt HPS, which I plan to do in a few eeks(wont be needed for a bit) and I will be using that for Flowering.

I picked up some fem Snow White seeds, as I just went with something random, and with a little research found that they are great strains which many think should have won several Cannabis Cups, and they have medium height so I dont have to worry about them trying to outgrow the tent or take up tooo much space height wise.

Im hoping that the tent they sent me was just a mess up and the rest they have arnt like this one. When they reply to me Ill let you know so if you order the same tent, you wont be expecting 4-4in ports and 2-5in ports and get something different.



-Edit- Overall tho, it looks to be a pretty good tent. Looks well made for the most part. You will need to pick up some Velcro tho to attach to the bottom 3 vent flaps. I had my girlfriend climb inside and zipped her up, to see if any light came in, and she said a little came in thru bottom of flaps. I cut a couple small strips of velcro and added to tent, and it fixed that problem completely.

I've got a SunHut XL. Bought it locally. It's very nice, but I'm trying to figure out if the beams can support the filter I got. It's a 38 Special Can Filter 50, which weighs about 57 pounds. Does anyone know if the beams can support that weight, or should I put the filter on the floor instead of mounting it to the ceiling of the tent?

I have since added a homemade pair of bigger wings to the cooltube. Also I am going to have to updgrade to a 4x2x5 tent for the smaller so as to allow for four seven gallon bags and not just three.

I am setting up my medical four by four perpetual grow. I am enjoying the med mj as it is magic with the morphine. I could not get pain relelif with just pills. Lol, this is good.



I bought mine cheap on ebay and will do it again, They got their probs but they can be worked with. I have added a charcola filter behind the little tent and on the big one it vents into an ozone generator. Their is filter in theri as well, or was I moved it to the little one, like I said.

I also going to use the old tent as a drying tent. Just buy those hanging baskets and hook up a fan! The best advice I can give you is to buy those muffling ducting covers for like 10 bucks at hd. They work. SO do thermal curtains wrpapped around your stuff. Like 20 bucks. The fan noise is a dead give for something.

The muffing duct covers work good? Im not too concerned about fan noise, but would like to conceal it a bit more.

Also I do plan to pick up one of those nets you can hang in the tent for harvesting. Im in no big hurry to produce lots of bud, so just gunna do a couple plants at a time in the same tent. I MAY grab one of those 2ft tall tents for clones though, that way once the harvest is done, Ill have some stuff already going good and ready to hop into main tent.

I run 600w in a cool tube and carbon filter with a 250 CFM fan for exhaust at the top of the tent, passive intake at the bottom of the tent. You could do the same with a 400w, but you want a good CFM fan. I use a squirrel cage, but there are better ones out there.

for a 400 use eBay and get a 6 in 430 or so cfm inline fan. No need for an expensive one. I mean over a hundred dollars. lol, only uise those 20 dollar ones for help or intake. They are fans. Or craigs list. Only b carefule as I am getting flagged for trying to sell off old supplies. IDK why.

Also fans are loud. Use something. That small tent is a good idea for clones.

When I first wanted to grow I went to the thrift store and got a free bearueau. I cleaned it out hollowed it and painted it white. I wanted to grow in it, lol. I was a noob! I use it for clones now and my clone dome with some cfls. I am glad. You do need somewhere and thinking ahead makes growing a whole lot more fun and a lot less stressful. You will be surprised by the small things that come up growing for small in your home. Be ready and you will be all smiles.

Shit like having your ro water ready and enough duct, lol. Always have the real duct peices too, duct tape in fact was never meant for ducts, fact, ust military uniform and parts reapiers in the feild. It was standard issue for troops in ww something.

These are some fans I am looking at. Seems to have the highest free air cfm flow out of all other fans Im finding. At least for the price
