Been running my 250 in my bedroom for years, get a good filter and vent outside if you can or you will forever smell like Jeff Spicoli's van, not that thats a bad thing....

More then likely it's the tent itself, whats the country of origin?
A few years ago tents would "gas off" and kill the plants till the tent material became less toxic.
How do the plants look?

maybe i get sick because of the continuous noise from the ventilation and not from the tent .

Maybe you get "sick" because you're paranoid? Anxiety of being busted? Or perhaps you suffer from Munchausen’s syndrome...

But in all seriousness I have never heard of anyone getting headaches or nausea from a ballast's magnetic field or the sound/vibration of exhaust.

Yes its possible to get headaches from looking at light emmited through a wave-generated ballast, depends on the persons health and sensitivity to light and frequency (i can see the flicker, some cant)

Its also possible to have sleep interruptions, anxiety ect with high amplitude infrasonic emmisions but it will take more then 250watts lol(basically extremely rare) because anything that puts out that amplitude of noise is usually over 2000+ watts and cant run for continuous period of time, most likely your freaking out.
