Hey folks! I need help(specifically with lighting distance/intensity and watering) , please feel free to guide me in the right direction. All help is welcome and greatly appreciated.
Before we start just wanted to thank all those who have helped me on my previous posts. I have gained a lot of knowledge from these forums and all of you amazing people... RIU is a godsend.
Setup(inside of closet):
I should start out by mentioning i have an AC unit in my room, a window unit, as it is very hot and humid where i live.
Vivosun 36x36x72 tent
HLG 260 V2 Rspec quantum board
Hurricane 171 cfm inline fan
(Coming soon: foothills carbon filter)
Small clip on fan for airflow
Plant is in a 5 gal smart pot with fox farms ocean forest soil.. i have big bloom, tiger bloom and grow big for when the nutrient time comes. Was thinking of adding other things, if anybody wants to reccomend some way to make this soil more alive..
Water is phed down to 6.5 (was about 8 beforehand from tap) RH is about 53 during daytime today and the temp is 81. The light is about 30 inches away giving a 15k lux reading. HLG says to use Ppfd of under 100 for seedlings.. according to them 15k lux would then be too much, as I would be around 218 ppfd.. double what hlg reccomends. I have a feeling I will get a nice stretch if I do that. Also , the seedling seems a little dry. I am thinking of watering her soon, but the soil on top feels a little damp. I have read on here that if I let her that a wet/dry cycle will make for a stronger root system. Makes sense but might this not also slow down growth if I go too far and let her stay too dry? I am now going to take some pictures to attach here. And below is some notes i voice recorded into text.

Wondering if its doing much good to vent straight at the celing? Would I be better off venting into my bathroom via a duct? Not sure what to do here. Also there is a door right next to the closet and I feel like the air is escaping.

She seems to be drying up.
So,
April 18th 2020 Day one
today I planted the seed which is a feminized, automatic flowering Fugue State from Mephisto Genetics and I watered it a little bit with a spray. Enough to keep the top moist at all times.
Day two.. I just watered it with spray a little bit and I am not sure how much but just a little bit to keep the soil moist I can't lie I'm sure that I must have gone back and looked at the plant about 10 times and I might have sprayed it a few times in between all the times that I went inside and looked at it I get impatient and that's when I messed things up I feel like.
Day 3 today I watered it with spray a little bit or should I say her I grabbed the needle and I moved a few bits of the soil on top and to check if the if the seed was beginning to sprout and all of a sudden I realized that that the Sprout was coming out it was just stuck under maybe maybe a a few milliliters of soil so I sprayed it a little bit on top.
Day 4 ....6 am the serrated leaves are nearly microscopic and yellow, cotyledon leaves are pointing upward as if hungry or thirsty?
It is now 4:45 pm seed is now a sprout about 0.5 inches out of the soil.
