Keep your passive intake flaps open and have a stronger fan blowing up at your light to push the heat upwards to the carbon filter. Either that or invest in a portable a/c or add an intake fan. Depends on your ambient temperature around the tent.

if posable get new inline fan for ligth that comes from (outside, not in tent)and exits seperately, that way on smell just heat removeal and just use carbon filter attached straight to inline fan u allreddy have, does that make sense?

thanks yea i have a 260 cfm fan as well i can run with the filter because it is a 4 inch inlet and the 12 inch carbon filter is also 4 inch and i will use the 400cfm to cool the light with fresh outside air. my flaps are open all 3. my buddy that grew with this same setup said grab some moving clip fans. he said his sat at about 78 max. how is my humity?

I'm using a similar setup to miss except I didn't need to use the carbon filter and 171cfm fan. I have my 435cfm fan sitting on the left side of my tent on the floor, and have ducting connected to the reflector via the 2 reflector cooling ports on my tent. All I'm doing is pulling air from outside the tent, down across the reflector, and out the fan. Keeps temperatures around 70-78 most of the time.
