36 hours of darkness begins in a few hours, not too concerned about the taste with this AK48 going to be using it for hash or when we are cooking, she is losing leaves fast and looks like I will be harvesting early Thursday morning or evening depending upon when I get to her.

This AK48 flowers fast, 50-55 days predicted I would have liked to take her all the way but she is not going to make it probably because of the PH issues for like 5 days!

Well I decided to chop her down.

All lower bud sites and non main colas were thrown into the trimmings bag, I have probably 2GA of trimming and GOOD buds from this harvest I plan on making some hash.

I am drying 1/4 of what was photographed during the earlier harvest. I only filled up 1 string in the tent last harvest I dried / cured everything and had like 4 strings with buds hanging. Did not weigh the wet buds I guess I could of bud I forgot and its hanging now and would be a pain to take it all back down. I have 5 beautiful colas spent a lot of time manicuring the buds so they look really good even better once they cure.

Last night a friend came over and we smoked a small bud of the AK48 (earlier harvest) it has been curing in the jars for like 3-4 weeks maybe. I will say that the taste has improved dramatically but still needs another couple of weeks to really get perfect and burn completely smooth.

I would say that at least half of this harvest went into the bag to make hash so I can not wait to get my bubble bags and see what it produces

those fat buds look sweet

The hash 1/2 the plant is going to make is going to be even sweeter, thanks for continuing to stop by Triple S!

i've just trimed around 180 grams of dried and shiny (almost like diamond) bud from my first ak 48 grow

I have harvested both of the plants, nothing more to report other than the curing process. I used 3/4 of the buds to make hash so I am excited about that lol

I'm bored too just drying and curing left for me .. This weekend going to get everything ready for the next grow.

Yeah you get really bored tasting after 1 week and realizing you need another 3 weeks of cure lol...

My AK48 has developed a very strong wonderful aroma, the smoke is getting better with each day. It is still best out of a water pipe or vaporizer though.

I moved my veg room into one of the tents because I do not have anything ready to flower yet. I plan on keeping the best clone for a mother (sweet island skunk thread) and flowering the other 3, that I can not wait on lol

The Jock Horror will be done middle of January then ready for tasting soon there after I heard its a wonderful smoke.
