Ten Years of Smoking and Growing, yet the Best Strain was some Bagseed.

In high school, this guy sold me a gram of bud for $5. This stuff was VERY light green (almost yellowish), smelled and tasted identical to juicy fruit chewing gum and had an extremely energetic, talkative buzz with ZERO paranoia/anxiety.

Of all the pot I've come across since, nothing can compare to this gram.

Can somebody PLEASE help me find a strain similar to this. It's the effects that are what I'm really after (energy w/ no paranoia at all), but getting that sweet juicy fruit flavor would also be great.

So far, the only strain which I've found on attitude with these effects is DJ Short Blueberry, though I'm not sure if the energy is there? But they're expensive and I'll get around to it one day, but are there any others?

Jillybean from tga, its the shit, tastes like oranges and candy, or velvet and orange, very mood enhancing, makes social environments easy even good for work environment. very very smooth if cured properly.
Bubblelicious from nirvana is also very much like the bubblegum flavored strain you speak of, but be sure to cut it down after 8-9 weeks so that you dont get alot of couchlock or stone, its also a really good producer.

Sounds like you wanna stick to Sativas.

I've had DNA Genetics Hashplant x Haze, got the Cannalope haze pheno and loved it. They sell Cannalope Haze as a strain. Tasted like cantalope and had a nice clear high. Definitely one of the best tasting strains I've run

Check out TGA, they have a lot of Sativa hybrids. They are also known for having fruity sweet strains

Had you had much smoking experience prior to buying this gram (cause you mentioned it being in high school). This could just be because you hadn't built up a tolerance at that time. You could perhaps smoke the same or even better weed now and feel nothing close to the effects if you are more experienced now.

ive smoke for over 15yrs and the one that left an impact on me was blackberry kush. very energetic and very social. im not a very talkative guy but that strain had me talking as if my lips where on speed. now ive tried to look for blackberry kush seeds but they are hard to find and the ones ive found have no description of what i was looking for. i think that the blackberry kush i had was a clone only strain.

I just harvested 3 bubblelicious plants and it has the flavor you want and it's certainly a big yielder. Dunno about the high though, all fresh weed makes me paranoid lol.

Sounds like what you had in high school was a Juicy Fruit Thai. You're on the right track with DJ Short. He used a Juicy fruit thai in the creation of some of his work. Also look into offerings from Chimera. More vigor than DJ stock, but still the potential considering pollen donors for his most recent stuff were all from the blue family of DJ.

I think you're right... I've done MUCH research on this, and have always thought it was that or some hybrid of it. I didn't mention it on the question because I didn't want to influence ppl's answers.

I respect your opinion, but honestly, it wasn't that at all. The TYPE (not strength) of the buzz I got off that strain was unlike anything I've ever had. I've had paranoia/anxiety after smoking my entire smoking life... And it was actually worse when I first began smoking. So if this strain was able to give 0 anxiety THEN, something I haven't gotten off any strain since, then you know it was something special.

i didn't read the 1st page, but if you want some REAL tutti fruity pheno thai that has ALL of the same annoying traits as highland thai, then sativa seeds' full moon is right up your alley. i gave up on it when it only STARTED flowering after 2 transplants and other strains were finishing and turned hermie on one branch & started spraying my garden. pure thai is naturally hermie though. it's a strain you have to be prepared to give plenty of space, light & time to, but should smoke way better than watered down hybrids like juicy fruit. until i can give it the attention it deserves, i'll stick with slightly less impressive strains that perform well indoors.

as to the bagseed, fuck yeah! the mix of EVERYTHING from 1 skunky afghani through all manner of hybrids to a lot of mexican brick seeds i ended up just taking leaflet trim from until my 40 plants died the first time i attempted growing TOTALLY kicked ass over ANYTHING i'd bought for over 10 years! i didn't get stoned like all that indica crap that pollutes 99.99% of the streets and the high was much stronger than all that beat up brick the beans originally came from.

the streets suck! unless you live in a med use market or are lucky enough to connect with a grower in it for the love & not the money, all you're going to find is totally useless stoney shit. bagseed kicks much ass! i wish i'd had more than just the 2 beans i got from one particularly awesome sack of brick i bought in the early 90s i called "spicy". even in brick form it wasn't shabby and had the same delicious crushed red pepper flavor of ORIGINAL kali mist. (now it's just spicy & fruity)

i'd say it's not so much that bagseed is "better" as much as most of that nothing but stoney greed weed that pollutes the street is inferior schwag no matter how fucking resinous or stank the bud is as it does absolutely nothing related to getting you high.

there ARE some great strains you can buy out there that DO get you nice though. haze skunk, 8 miles high, super cali haze, & even C99 all make me plenty happy, but if you want good shit like that, you can't buy, you gotta DIY.

also experiment with your harvest times letting the tricks mature will change the way you are affected ...good luck

Cinderella 99 is very well documented to have ALL the qualities that you are looking for. it is not a 10 yr old strain so it was most likely not what you smoked back in the day. but I have grown / smoked this and its a winner.

I germ'd some Bros Grimm Cindy 99 in late 2000.
It didn't smell like Juicy Fruit though. Otherwise an outstanding cultivar. cn
