Temprature Hlp

on more Q iv just started looking at Lumens and ive got a bit of a problem im planning on runnin the lighting off a plug socket that will only allow 24 watts to run through it so the max amount of lumens i can produce is 1660 with one light :/ is there anyway i can run this off plug sockets becuase i cant pull the supply out the lighting ring
 
sorry mate i got confused i thought you could only draw 24watts from a plug socket :dunce: thas what mago kush does to ya and at £20 for 1.5g i should hope so
 
No way a microwave oven is like 1000-1300 watts and it plugs into wall outlet and even old incondesent light bulb get to 150 watts
 
i realise that now xD i do have to say the "mango shit" i have is some of the nicest draw ive ever had actualy sinks of magos :bigjoint: time for a wake n' bake me thinks

£20 for 1.5g! good/bad to hear my area is not the only place charging CRAZY prices!

im not that old (27) and even i can remember 7-8 years ago paying 120 an oz for high-grade.

What happened?

only good thing i can say about todays market is there dont seem to be so much sprayed up weed around anymore thank fuck!

how big is the grow area?? i might be able to advise you on some problems you have as i have been there, i see your from the uk so i can give you prices for items in pounds.
 
although id rather have a HPS its a bit inpractical seeing as id have to use a diffrent bulb holder thing + its only realy good for the flowering stage were as if i get CFL i can get blue spectrum and red spectrum bulbs and change them accordingly

what about a duel spectrum bulbs, heres a link to a good store on ebay, i have goten stuff from them before and never had a problem, i use 2 of these for veggin but i have gone 12/12 and with good results, oh heres the link

don't buy a heater, I have a 400w HPS I reg @ 70F light, 60F dark, you will be fine and if I close the closet temps touch 100F, so I leave it open 24/7.. GL
 
meant to add that one veg room i use is 6 foot long 7 foot high and 3 ft wide and just one of the bulbs i mentiond keeps the room at around 76 deg f, they do give off heat but not enough to burn plants at 3 inch away, so if you have a spare few quid i would strongly recomend these bulbs.
 
itsa fukin rip off a year an a bit back it used to be 2.5-3g! its fukin bollocks and we still get spray and its being sold at 2g sometimes less ¬.¬ its all gone downhill im afraid
