Hey, im growing outdoors in pots. Lately we have temps up to 92 and I'm afraid that it may cause a heat stress to my plants. Should i put them in a place where is shade during peak times(noon-afternoon, 12-3 PM)? I guess temps under direct sunlight are close to 100.

Air circulation, greater CO2 levels and all that mumbo jumbo helps outdoor plants at that temp I vbelieve. if you live in a hot area. This is an answr based on what I've read so far. I could very well be wrong.

We had over 100 degrees for many many days last summer
and many days in the 90's so I gave my plants plenty of water to
keep them cool under the full sun. I watered 3-4 times a day and
the healthy plants loved it and turned out great at 5' - 12' and wide.
Shade during peak hours would be great and preferable if I had it.
Dyna Grow Pro-Tekt protects plants from heat, wind, cold, etc....
although I didn't have it for use last summer I apply it now.

From 12 noon to 2-3pm put them in a slightly shaded area.... outdoors they tolerate a lot higher temps than indoors- but over 95f is a bit much....
Make sure you are keeping them well watered and make sure they are in large enough planters--but only water/feed really early in the day so they do not get any sun-scald if water gets on the leaves! ;)

I have them in 24 gal pots and i use a moisture meter, when moisture gets down to 20% i water them. Also i feed them late in afternoon it gives them something like 12-14 hours with not so much heat/light to drain as much as they want.

Greetings from Greece :-)

Also, if they're on a shaded place they can still get light right? Or they will stretch trying reaching it?
