Temperaturel

My temps stay around 92 Degrees in my area and they seem to be doing just fine in the vegetative stage week 4. When they say keep temps down below 90 are they speaking of the temp at the tops of the plants or the ambient temp of the room itself. The ambient temp is around 79-80. The temp over top of the plants from the light being 12 inches from tops is 92. Does this sound ok as once again they are thriving

In veg things almost always seem OK. Thats when dope truly is a "weed". It just grows. When you flower them bitches though.....yeah thats too hot. You'd prolly still get some buds depending on how the rest your process was, but they'd be hurting to make the big donkey dicks, and high temps are an open invitation for alot of nasty shit (mites, diseases, root problems, etc)
