please can I ask what temp would be the limit before it effects plant production from the heat . I know that 20 oc / 30 oc is the range but if I can only get down too 25/26 oc will I be suffering yield loss etc?

I think some depends on what phase your crop is in, what strains, and the supplementation of co2. As a general rule 70 to 80 lights on and a bit lower lights off. This is very generic
Good luck

I guess I should speak to your question. Heat stress can cause some undesirable outcomes. Plant can hermie. Plant can quit the photosynthetic process. Plant can pigtail. Bud quality can suffer.

If you can get your temps to 25/26 you will be doing great

Plant can hermie. This would only add to the stress factors that might cause bisexual expression. It is not a single stand alone reason for it.
Plant can quit the photosynthetic process. False! It can go "dormant" but the plant is still doing it's process's. The "energy" made, is expended in keeping the plant cool. This can slow or even stop any "growth" you would notice.
Plant can pigtail. Heat is a factor in foxtailing.
Bud quality can suffer. Loss of density.......

Felt these needed to be expanded on sir......

No problem. I did mean foxtail - should have put down the pipe. I always enjoy your input Dr. Who
