Temperature question

What should the "Day/Night" temps be for new seedlings that just broke ground? Thanks!

not too hot not too cold...

The optimal temps would be about 74 degrees for the air temp, and about 78 degrees for the soil temp. If you get a seedling flat heat mat with a temp controller you can get this to the tee. Otherwise, just worry about the air temp.

i was always told a hi/low of 78/68... but a few degrees either way really won't hurt too much... and you don't want too much more than a ten degree difference between your high temp and the low temp for optimal plant growth.........
