Temperature issues

I recently started some seedlings and I'm trying to figure out the lighting. The house I just moved into the ac is not the best. I'm getting 75 to 80 degrees with four t8 32 watt lights. I usually run a 600w hps in a 4 x 4 tent but i feel with the temperatures I'm at with the hps the heat will be way to high in the tent. I looked into some cheaper leds but can't seem to find anything definitive on them. Any help on q light that would work or ideas to cool the light would be appreciate.

The trick is enough exhaust fan to vacuum out the heat. 4x4 space with a 600watt, an 8" blower would exchange the air quicker then it can heat up. 6" blower would work with a pusher fan blower fresh air in while the 6" blower sucks it out. Equalised flow to accomplish a 2-5°f range between the temps of grow space air temp and the air temperature outside the space.

LED box lights run at temperature around 85°f. Easy to cool. While not the best lights on the market. They work but have to be placed close to the plant(s). Under a 300watt LED, I sprout seeds at distance of around 27". Veg in the 20" range. Flower at 12".

I was looking at viparsprctra 600w led but I can't tell if it will be as strong as a 600w hps

A lot folks cuss the box LEDs because they're not the rated wattage. 300watt LED doesn't run a full 300. Their 300 is supposedly similar to a 400watt HID.

With the 600 watt you're supposedly able to replace a 1000 HID with it. Being less efficient it'll replace 600-700watts of HID light at best.

If you want less heat then less wattage is needed and to do that with LED you want very efficient LEDs like Quantum boards or top end COBs ran soft.
Or just increase airflow with your HPS as SouthCross said, or go with an air cooled hood.

Run a cool tube on your HPS and you'll be fine.

Or you could just stick to the T8's.

An LED of higher power is still going to jack your temperatures up anyway and you'll have to get some venting going. If you increase your light, you will increase your heat. So, in the end, stick with what you've got until you can go all in on a complete solution.

I have a cool tube and fan to blow air into the tent. I was going to get a carbon filter and exaust fan to help cool and smell. The rooms temperature is 75 to 82 with that exhaust system how hot would the tent run. Every time I use the hps by itself no cooling system temps jump up around 10 degrees higher
