Temperature help

hello people, my grow room today was at temps of 101 F, i have a fans in there and a a air intake fan, and the humitdy is low liek 32% i dunno how to increase humidity and relieve temperature,, ill get another in take fan and put it in the opposite way round to suck air out, how about the humidity,. any help please,

is most of the heat coming from your light?
try getting a cool light system, or aiming a fan at your light

yeah i can help you.. if u check out my journal youll see that i was in the same position.. i managed to fix it and have not had any other problems again!

you obviously need an exhaust.. what i did with mine is i cut a large hole in the top back corner of the cabinet and then i just put a fan in the hole facing out... i made another hole in the bottom with a fan facing in/up ( this fan blows new air right toward the bulbs which are hot) the hot air from the bulbs then goes out threw the exhaust..

yea its the light i think its fairly hot it basically raped the plants at first , but there doing fine now

also.. to raise the humidity u can either purchase a humidifyer, or u can just do like i did and put a small bowl of water in near the intake fan...

i got mine for $80 at the local hydro shop...
i dont have an air cooled hood so i just ran ducting to the side of it ( i have a fan below blowing on the bulb from the opposite side to push hot air into the exhaust duct )
this worked great

and as u see in the pic i also have a tall oscilating fan for circulation

nice setup, my set up is 5x5 ft, inside bedroom but the gro room is made of plasteboard, all sealed, up, im growing 6 plants 4 in soil, peatless soil, perlite n clay pebbles mix ture,

2 are in hydro it has water pump and air bubbler, experimmenting, i installed a bathroom air flow fan ts basically sucks air in and puts it out i reversed it so it sucks fresh air into the gro room, im gonna install another on the other side of the room to suck crap out

hope this goes well, coz the plants almost died and luckily i managed to get em all back to life and lookin good

u have to take the hot air out of the room... and it helps if u have an air cooled hood or a cool tube... u hook that to an exhaust fan and it will keep it nice in there

u want to put the fan that sucking air out toward the top of the room..

the heat rises.. so u want to take the air out from the top of the room... and bring in fresh air from the bottom

well, i got ducting that fit the intakes fans ill install it the other way round to suck air out, and conenct the ducting onto it and put by the light
