I need to figure out how to use both lights before flower time and summer time

Setups 7x7x6 pretty much.
In my cold cellar framed and insulated.

2 1ks..
One being exhausted through it from filter and outside small window with 8" fan

One non air cooled. Just chillen.

Intake is bottom of door 8x8 hole. Outside room temp is 72 ( laundry room)

One light running temps are 78-82.

Two lights jumps to 93..

I'm in a jam of what to do to make this work.

Please help. I bought a portable ac for 40$ with two hoses..I put it inside the room with both hoses in a window.. and all it did was blow warm air..nothing came out either hose.

Any help is greatly appreciated.. Someone has to be in the same situation as me.

Thanks in advance

You are correct, those portables do not do anything at all. With now window, you have only one option, a mini split AC. I recommend Mitsubishi Mr. Slim, this can be installed easily and cool your grow room. Also it will act as dehumidifer of course (like any AC). Does that help?

I appreciate the suggestion but I need a cheaper solution lol

You'd be surprised...also if your ballasts are in the same room and run hot, that will add to the heat. I put a fan on my ballasts, that alone cools it 10 degrees. Everythings putting off heat...dehumidifiers, ballasts, lights, fan motors it all adds up

My ballist with air cooled hood doesn't get hot and is mounted on cieling.. The other light runs really hot..I'm just not sure if spending 300$ on another light with air cooled hood will work..temps with one are 82 and its not summer yet. I've spent enough already..is there any other options.. Is my ac broken since nothings coming out exhaust

my bad, I thought you had 2 hoods. So ones open then... try designating a fan straight to the light. put intakes cool air close to that fan. I did something simular when I plugged in my 2000w hood...its a scorcher, it needs its own fan blasting on light and tops of plant

I tried with box fan blowing on all the plants and a 12" fan blowing right on the light and was.still 90 degrees

Im always trying to save a buck....I see some potential with that one but...like you said its old, probably why its running so hot. You could probably get something thats new and more efficient on your electric bill as well. I bet you could cook a steak on it in about 15 minutes:P
