My friend.

Research on how to build cheap c02 in your grow room through " fermentation, vinegar and baking soda, ect ect. "

If you can bring the C02 up past 500 parts per million, the Trees will take 95 to 100 degrees all dqy and not need any ventilation during the day.

Cheapest way to solve your problem AND get more yield.

It is easy and plenty of info to be found.

Good Luck and Be Blessed,

The metal radiates heat. Its like putting a plant in the sun, and then putting a piece of metal next to the plant.

i had the same problem and what i did was i put the fan on the back wall of my grow closet so it blows the hot air out of the room and i leave the door open just a crack and i just close it when the light goes out or when i get home from work

The original post talks about the ROOM being 95 F +. Taking off the reflector will NOT lower the room temp. If he was having trouble with the tops of the plants burning, he probably has the sense to raise the light a little.
But PLEASE post some pics and show us all how its done.:hump:

Wanna talk about feeling dirty...But not really. That is how I felt when I was taking the pictures. We were in a photography class together and I couldnt believe she agreed to pose. She was 19 and I was probably 47 at the time. Dirty old man delight. I must add, it WAS for a class assignment.

Freeze several one gallon milk containers with water and place them in your grow area. Three containers can lower the temperature of a 4X4X6 from 86 to 81 degrees. Make sure you have a circulating fan in there. The containers should last for about five hours at 83 degrees. I would start off with five. Definitely grow at night. 9pm to 9am for 12 hour cycle. Look at your local city's temperature cycle and see when the temperature undergoes its greatest decrease and start growing then. Keep in mind though it will take several hours for your apartment to lose the daytime heat it acquired during the day so start your apartment air conditioner one hour or so before your lights come on.

When you have the money purchase a hood with a glass cover AND an exhaust fan that connects directly to your hood. After doing this the temperature on my hood dropped from 100+ degrees to the mid 80's.

I understand that you might not be able to drill a hole(s) for the exhaust but you could create a partition in the door (like a dog door) with cardboard and attach the exit exhaust to that.

Right on Spode. Simple, cheap, effective. Never thought about using ice. As for the hood, well its on my to get list. Its been kinda cool latley. I just leave the door open during the day, then put the fan in the window at night. Down to 70 when I do this, I'll try the ice though. for daytime relief.

Borow $99 for a small air conditioner from home depot. You'll spend that in ice over the next few weeks

My greenhouse hit 132 monday and will rarely go under 90 until sep. Not that i consider this ideal, but it will still produce some quite smokeable bud.

Oh you little bitch you edited it, lol. I knew I should of quoted your ass on that weird, semi-homo stuff you had going there, lol.

It's all in fun and play! You were right though... The origional post was kind of creepy, thus is why I changed it. I didn't want it to come off that way... But, you do see the point I was getting across, right? :peace:
