Like if your running temps high like 85-90. is better to raise you humidity if it’s easier than dropping the temp? Or just try to get the temp down 5 degrees?
Having a hard time keeping my temps down/don’t want to power an ac. So was wondering if I can just juice the humidity up to stay in that .9-1.2 range? Or if I should just get the temp down?Welcome to RIU even though you have been a member for over 2 years.

Yes I did. I’m still worried about high temps, and was asking for real world advise not an answer. I’ve read plenty on VPD, doesn’t mean you can have a plant at 33 degrees f and lower humidity and have a thriving plant. What about the reverse ?

If the VPD is in range the temp isnt high. Use the temp of the leaf surface not the room temp when calculating the VPD

Well if vpd is high you just have to water a lot.if its too high plant stomata will explode from too high water pressure and you geta sickness forgot its name.

Unless the room is sealed and you have full control over temp and rh the CO2 is a waste of time.
Not quite sealed but pretty damn close, and I have full control over humidity relatively to temperature and co2 just not trying to add an ac at this point. I run a trolmaster controller and incorporate ac infinity’s controller as well.
