@coreywebster ive never heard of a COB light. Can you send me a link to a good one? Thanks!
lol Take a look at the LED threads and DIY LED. Pre made fixtures are not cheap, there are several companies who are on here design and sell them. Building your own is the most economical way. This is a rabbit hole you may not return from though!
The point of using one for you would be to have more light for your space but less heat too, because they are very efficient.
The costs may put you off but its just one suggestion to help you actually get your grow space to a usable temp. I know you really want to put your space to good use.
If you want to see what a good dude is doing in a small cabinet you should check out https://www.rollitup.org/t/a-little-project-to-pass-the-time.909832/#post-12624751

If you have your cabinet to working temps now then all the better. I hope you get it pumping out some fine buds, theres nothing better than been self sufficient!
Good luck.

Sorry Rednax, I didn't really answer your question well. A COB light is a Chip On Board LED. Its made up of lots of tiny diodes on one chip, they are mounted on aluminium or ceramic base. They are more efficient than a LED light using single diodes made of red and blue ect. So you get more light per watt and less heat. This is the advantage. You can create the same amount of photons for less wattage and have less heat in your space. They are white in colour spectrum, usually warm white. This gives a really nice colour spectrum that plants seem to love. Check out growmau5 on youtube, he builds legendary lights!
Anyway that's enough of that.
Lets hope you put what you have right now to good use and pull some sweet buds out of your cabinet!!
