temp problem

Hey everyone, as stated in the thread "the aerogarden: a comprehensive review," I'm having a hard time keeping the temp down in my grow area. The temperature fluctuates between 90 and 100 degrees f. It's really bad.... I don't really know what I should do. I've got a fan blowing outward from the top of my grow box and I have a turbine fan blowing directly on my plants. The lights I have are the stock aerogarden lights and two 45 watt cfl's. I've included pictures of my grow hopefully someone will have some good advice!

At this point in your grow, you don't really need those secondary lights. Wait till around week 2. After that, as long as there is good airflow your temp should stay manageable. A good method is to install one small fan at the bottom horizontally and another on the bottom vertically. Have a small opening at the top of you grow box and another small opening directly behind that horizontal fan. This will create what would look like a (mini) funnel, where the intake air is cool and the exiting air is hot. The openings need only be a few inches and the fans need only be about as powerful as an internal computer fan. There are some kick-ass links that show how to turn an old computer fan into a grow room fan.
