Temp probe idea

I'm using a Springfield PRECISETEMP remote temperature gauge in my grow room. I put the main unit at cola level with my girls and the "outside" probe through my air intake and into the next room. This allows me to monitor the temperature of the grow room as well as the temp. of the air coming into the grow room. The outside temperature reading also indicates whether the temp is falling or rising and thus affecting the temp of my grow room. This allows me to make adjustments accordingly. Also it has the min/max memory that is cool for when I'm away.

I don't know if anybody else is as anal as I am about their room temps, but I thought I'd share.

76.8 inside right now with an outside temp of 75.7 and holding :)

I use a honeywell temp controller and a slc 500 to do the same. You would be amazed at the temp of the air that gets trapped between the light and plants. I stopped growing. It just stopped. All because of a pocket of hot air. 95 degrees. Even though the fans are on air can still get blocked so several temp probes will find these problems quick.

I grew a bunch of males doing stupid shit then the outside temp raised just a little.
