Temp Issues

Ever since I kicked on my 400w CMH light I've been having trouble keeping temps in my closet down. I've gotten them down to 84 with the door open and three fans blowing on it. Ideally though I want to find a solution where I can close the door. I lined the walls with Mylar so I'm thinking that might be part of the problem. The closet is my veg room, and I have a 60"x60"x78" tent for flowering. I was planning on getting a 1000w hps for it, but judging by how hot this 400w is I'm starting to reconsider. Anybody have any ideas or suggestions?

Maybe exhaust through an air cooled hood if possible. The tent I would go 600 air cooled. I love the 1k but if the room is hot it is a deficit.

Okay I was planning on to exhaust fans for my tent, one for the light and one for the tent, with a passive intake to the light hood. If I do that will I be able to keep temps down? My 400w light reflector is a piece of shit no hood or air cooling technology I guess I'll have to buy a new one. Thanks for the help guys I really want the 1000w light and have the money for it I just want to make sure I'll be able to manage the temps. I appreciate the help guys!

It will to some degree, but if you're exhausting to a bedroom, eventually you'll just be ventilating the same hot air, you need to exhaust it out of the tent and room entirely.

I use passive intake, I pull air out of the room to create negative pressure....I'd exhaust out of the room and you should be golden.
