Temp Fluctuations in Garage Cab

Guys,

I'm in the design phase of my new grow cab and ideally I'd like to keep the cab in my garage (out of the way and easily masked). My question is this; how do you guys handle the temperature fluctuation in a cab outside in a garage? For example, in the east we have went from 20F to 80F in 4 days time and if I had this cab in my garage, how would I have managed to keep the temps in the cab stable.:?:

TIA.

Yea i am doing the same thing in my poll barn. I plan on using exhaust for the heat and when winter comes around insulate my barn and portable heaters. I would also insulate your walls of the cab and the floor with the foam board.

Heaters and fans.....maybe even a portable a/c in the summer time :hump:
Wow, wouldn't that require thermostat/humidistat sensors as well (so you wouldn't have to tinker with turning them on and off on a hourly basis?). Maybe growing in an outdoor garage (or shed) isn't such a good idea after all.

A good number of heaters and portable a/c units have temp settings and come on and off by themselves. Actually its pretty simple :hump:

I once tried to grow in a refrigerator and temps got up to 109 and 62 at night it still grew but turned hermi. I think a garage grow is an overall good idea

Ok, cool, so then I don't need to wire up my own micro-controller circuit to handle the sensor logic. Can you point me to a cheap mini heater/ac that has this built in temperature setting (perhaps the one you are using)?

Cough, cough.. good god $400+? This is still an open question for me. The wife has put her foot down, no more growing anything in the house again! When my next grow comes up it will have to be a cabinet in my garage or an outdoor grow. If I go with a garage cab, I will need some way to regulate the temps. Since I grow for myself we're talking about a single plant (maybe 2) so I would like something for $100 or less.
