Temp fluctuations from 68f-86f in flower bad?

okay so my plants are a little over 4 weeks into flower and i only have one plug in the room which is next to the radiator which turns on and off periodically throughout the day. (so i cant move my tent). When the radiator turns on I plug in the exhaust fan but only for about a half hour because the noise gets on my nerves and electricity is becoming a problem. It will go all the way down to 66 after about 10 minutes of keeping the exhaust fan on (because it is sucking air from outside) but when i turn it off it off it will jump back up to 84 degrees-ish. I do this about 4-6 times a day. Keep in mind it mostly isnt on for more than a half an hour. Are these major inconsistencies in temperature bad for the plants or is everything good as long as they stay in 65-80 range?

You should really stabilize it. Is there any way you can put a barrier or something to direct the hot air away from the tent?

It will turn on power if the temp gets out of range. It can be set to heating or cooling.
Mine stays set to cooling at 80. It kicks on around 82 and off around 78

those types of temp fluctuations can cause Powdery Mildew easy you need to fix it
you need constant air flow too... You really don't want your exhaust to kick on and off. You want it dialed in and running constantly.
try one of these simple dimmer thingees
https://www.amazon.com/SPEEDSTER-VARIABLE-SPEED-CONTROLLER-736617/dp/B00AE15S1G and dim it down all the way, wait an hour and check how the temps are then. The fan noise may be alot more bearable too at that point.

also why have it suck air from outside? is it going to overheat your house?
If it takes air from inside your house the radiator wont run as much

perhaps the first step is having it draw air from inside your house and MAYBE cracking the window a teeny bit.

I control my temps with a cm up to 3 inches of window crack haha
