Think about this, trimming your bud, not with scissors, or expensive ass auto trimmers, what about.. hair clippers? has anyone tried this. I will have to wait till my next harvest to try it but i think it will work great! What do you guys think???

It's been done. Try sheep shears though. They are actually more or less made for it to some degree.

Regular hair clips will gum inside of a couple minutes ... assuming you can get the comb to even be large enough as to grab what you want to trim.

Still dont recommend it.

I think it would take a while and you would cut a lot of hairs off and it would be harder to get deep into the buds. You would have to cut on the thin side of the leaves also, since hair clippers use like a sawtooth action

I thought hair clippers worked by the hair going between a thin grove and the moving "blade" cutting hair in said groves. Seems like it would be pretty damned hard to trim a leaf effectively unless as said, they were sheep shearers, and even then you have to take into account the idea of it getting all gummed up and becoming useless. I think people are still using scissors for a good reason.

If you really want to automate it though, then a knockoff Dremel with a home made strimmer attachment would be a lot more effective for around the same price.

I can't do a pound in four hours with my wife helping (she talks more then trims)
I can barely do 3/4 of a pound in 4 hours lol. I am very anal about how my buds are trimmed, my wife eventually tells me to go f myself after the first hour... She thinks I am OCD when it comes to growing, she may not be far off.
