I’m an outdoors hack so someone may know better but I would be really cautious when drilling the new holes for fear of root damage. Even the little recovery time could set you back a little. Enjoying the thread.
WORD, except probably 5 minutes onDo you have the water farms on a repeat cycle timer? If they run all the time then they are prone to root rot. 15 minutes on every 4 hours with lights on is good, none with lights off.
Yeah I can see that, I never ran a waterfarm personally, I did do flood and drain with hydroton and it took a little longer to reach full flood depth.WORD, except probably 5 minutes on
Thank you, i dont know why i didnt think of this, will definitely wait until after harvest to drill more holes!I’m an outdoors hack so someone may know better but I would be really cautious when drilling the new holes for fear of root damage. Is this actually something i have to worry about while doing this method of grow? Im really loving having a pretty much automated setup, so should i invest in a 15on-45off timer sort of thing? Really annoying and makes me want to ditch the hydro altogether
What? TfAre there some buddies'll do black friday shopping for the growing stuffs? i see there's alot of sellers put their ads on networks, but they dontknow what the things we growers really need, lol . I need the free stuffs if there any chance to win something, i will feel happy and warm.. this time i am hanging out the forums to see if there any of this opportunity , so luckily probably i have reached some. lol you guys look for some kind of this at this forum ?
What grow for fun is trying to say is MARS HYDRO MARS HYDRO MARS HYDRO....What? Tf
Thank you! Will post updates later!Google the scottyballs waterfarm upgrades thread, it will save you a bunch of trial and error. Those work great for what they are, you should've drilled additional larger holes for the roots PRIOR to planting em though. Once the roots reach the water in the tank you can turn off the top feed. I like to run the top feed for 15 mins every 4 hours or so, any more is just too much. Leave the airstone running 24/7 in the reservoir though.
What? Tf
Surely i would say it is there, the mars led so active in this forum,it obviously into eyes, lol but i found another guy also makes this happen on 420mag and fb,also ig, i look around almost every where, this time i hope another light instead of the marsligh, i already have some of them, i like new stuff. What grow for fun is trying to say is MARS HYDRO MARS HYDRO MARS HYDRO....
ouch, ideally with that small of a reservoir you should be topping it up daily with RO + calmag ph'd water. Lookin' a tad crispy, I would imagine from the salts concentrating as she ran out of water.
Seems expensive my tap water is only around 120 ppm w a filter from tap soReverse osmosis
I don’t know much more than the term from just reading around. I use rain as much as I can.Seems expensive my tap water is only around 120 ppm w a filter from tap so

that's pretty low ppm, you might be fine, my city has cloramine in the water so I filter. You already have a hose and fitting for the drain tube, just swap that with a straight barb instead of a elbow, and connect it to another bucket. Place them at the same height and as the plant drinks from the main bucket it will flow along the pipe to keep them at the same level. Just keep refilling the 'reservoir' bucket, keep an airstone in each, and a lid if you can. you'll have to play with it a bit but you can connect a 5 gallon bucket this way.Yea, it sucks, im wating to add a big res but not really sure on how to without messing it up, But honestly i can see the level of water on the side tube and should have no problem making sure the water lever is maintained. What is RO?
Thank you! Will definitely give this a try when i go to grab my clone off her, still thinking about when or if i shouldthat's pretty low ppm, you might be fine, my city has cloramine in the water so I filter.
