Im just wondering how and what systems gorilla growers are using.

Solar, 12v pumps and timers etc. What are you using, rough cost and set up times? What didnt work?

Generally anything that your automating whilst still being stealthy.

Yep. I use this bin (260Litres) with a tarp set up to catch rain.




I went and checked out a new site for next year but to make it work properly id need it fully automated. (pump up water from dam and disperse water to plants)

Is that a washing machine pump? If it is they are free to get for me as im at the tip (dump) every week or so. mmm Could be a bilge pump?

Im more after a fully automated set up. Pump water up a drop off to the plants on a timer (set at 2 am) run for 15- 30 min and switch itself off to do it again 2 days later. Run on a battery that uses a small Solar panel to recharge the battery.

This would mean that i would only have to visit the plot a few times in the whole grow. (apart from setup and cooking holes)

The solar panel is a cool idea, however it might reflect a glare that shines from the eye in the sky. If it were near a wildlife feeder they could reasonably assume it was to power the feeder.

Ill cover it with some greenhouse cloth.. Solar panels also work on the heat of the sunlight not just the light itself.

different size bilge pumps depending on how much water im pumping and how far.

Also you can dig a good trench, I dig a 2 ft deep 4 ft long 2wide, then I cover it with black plastic and put rocks along the sides to hold it down and cover with leaves, when it fills up with water it helps big time
