Techniques for trimming fan leaves during flower.

Day 33 of 12/12. I trimmed all the fans off the main stalk and bud sites and fans approx 1/3rd of the way up the plants day 5 of flower. They literally tripled in size after flipping. They have gotten out of control at this point so Im thinking of trimming again. Some are over 6 ft. tall. Ive heard 2 schools of thought on trimming. #1 Fan leaves are benneficial during flower to draw energy from. #2 trim most the fan leaves so they're not sucking up energy. Does anyone have any input from experience? Techniques? How much to trim? Where from....top, bottom, inside, outside. Trim big fans or little fans? Leave all, none, or some? Also how are these flowers looking for day 33? Took some shots of tops, middles, and bottoms. Thx guys

Leave the leaves alone. Doesn't look like you have an over abundance of leaves that need to be removed.
Thx for the input man. Theres some lower ones that are losing color and dying. There probably atleast 6 feet from the lights and being fully blocked by the canopy. Im thinking I should atleast take these off? There are a descent amount of lower bud sites not gaining much and I feel some of the tops should be bigger at this point. That was my reason for thinking about trimming. Would like some of these lower sites to get more light. Ive seen videos of guys taking a lot more off than I have and they seem to have nice harvests. I simply dont have enough experience to know what will produce the best crop.
