TDS upper threshold?

My house water is usually anywhere from 260-300 tds. Bought a smallboy carbon and sediment filter and it got my tds down to in the range of 200-220 prior to nutes. Is this too high? Should I consider another filter? Trying to avoid a r/o if possible

Can't say,but it sounds high for an indoor grow,I think the number 1 thing is clean water and plenty of light, but try it if you have issue's when in seedling or veg state then you will know.and use distilled water .use distilled water at seedling stage cause it doesn't use much water /pot size and all then later on switch to your water and keep an eye on it that's a better choice for sure, bongsmilie

Looks like it's actually coming in around 260, anyone thinking this is too high? I'm surprised my smallboy didn't take more out.
