tattoo cover up

ok heres the story. when i was 18 or so i got this most shitty tattoo ever its on my forearm. i got it covered earlier this year. the colors didnt work at all. now i got a tattoo on top of one and you can see them both. i have to go with a solid black tattoo. now i have a 3 inch circle of red and other colors bleeding through from the old tattoo. so i have this ugly disaray of colors and i need an idea of a cover up. its a 3 inch circle and must be solid black. preferably tribal. whos got any ideas? i can think of a black sun with black rays of light i guess but i dont want that it would be too big on my arm. who has some suggestions for a cover up?

laser is out of the question. my buddy said he could fix it but i never got to him before i moved. its not as bad as it could be but its still pretty bad. im not sure how the color works but i might be able to get an 8 ball out of it. it depends if white can go on top of red( the red is more like a pink color

why would you want an eight ball on your arm? Shoot coke much? Pool enthusiast seems a bit of a stretch.

Another idea: STOP going to buddies and START going to professionals in shops.

its the only tattoo i didnt have done in a shop. my "buddy" is a licenses tattoo artist in new york and licensed in florida. when i was 18 i didnt know a tattoo artist. it will be professionally corrected i just need ideas what to put over the top of it.

and pool is what i was thinking. i do play on a summer league so pool is a good hobby of mine i like it cuz im naturally good

well its a smiley now. its a shark tattoo underneath and a red smiley on top with black eyes and black outline. the black from the shark bled through on top of the red so you see an outline of a shark inside the smiley face.

so i was thinking since the colors are so f*cked up it would be a black circle of some sort with something around it.

Damn that looks like shit I got my whole right arm from the elbow up( a BIG black UGLY reaper) and a name of my fore arm lazered once for 200 bucks it didn't hurt more than the tat its self and my artist said he could cover it up with no problem now that it was faded . I would lazer it any how just to make sure the red wasnt gana bleed threw u dont want a tat over a tat over a tat that still looks like crap And I like the black hole Idea That sound bad ass and it looks like u need something around that anyways that is a weird spot for a tat get the whole sleeve done thats what ima do when i have the money
