See, that's what sucks. Why not improve it instead of complaining about it?
pH problems? Ok, lets look at how we can resolve it. First, if its at your FRIENDS house, have your friend go and check that shit!!! Dont let him sit on his ass while YOU drive to check on the plants. No good? Ok, how about changing nutrients or your water source to make it buffer pH to be more stable? No? Ok, then how about http://www.advancednutrients.com/ph-perfect/ ph-ppm perfect which allows you to use almost any desireable range of pH instead?
There's 3 fixes to one simple problem. All 3 simple to do. Very simple to do. I'm going to guess you use tap water with a high ppm and then you arent checking on the pH levels and the water makes the pH bounce around. If so, fix it and watch your yield double at the very least from what you have now at week 6.
So try to ask how to fix problems you have rather than accepting them and you might get useful responses like the above.
