Hi Guys,
can you use it straight from the tap? Its a pain in the ass having to stock pile bottle after bottle[as i used to do to purify it,i think it removes added chemicals????
Anyway,is it ok????
I'm in East Anglia England for the record.....water wise of course :}
Cheers Guys

If you have a good water supply, you should be okay. A well-maintained city water system should be fine. Some people let the water stand for a day to let chlorine gas off, but my water (NYC) doesn't have an over-abundance of chlorine. The ppm is 130, so it also doesn't mess with my nutes levels too much, either. I just use it straight from the tap and my plants flourish.

I've never that, isn't that why people let their tap water sit to evap. the chlorine?
I let mine sit for a day or two before use.

You taping a well? or a spring fed water system or are you on a public water supply? public you'll need to see if the area posts there annual water report. If on your own water find some water ph test strips or if you can afford it you can grab a ppm meter which gives you all the info you need about ANY water your using. Breaks it down so you can KNOW exactly what your working with no guessin!

Chlorine is rarely used anymore. Most water treatment is done with chloramines now.

Check the ppm of your water. I have heard that water in East Anglia will turn your plants into chavs.
Give them track suits, trainers and put on some Lilly Allen and they will be fine.

Ive heard that the chlorine can actually be beneficial for cuttings to help prevent bacteria? Any truth to this theory?
I have cloned since 1970 using water glasses taped to keep light out. Plain tap water, changed every 2 days to keep aerated. Top should be opaque as well. No algae or slime.

\Might make an aerocloner. Would still use chlorinated. Beats dealing with bacteria.

I've drank worse. Good Mg, Ca and Cu levels in yours. Proper tap pH. .75 ML of pH Down/gallon makes mine (similar to yours) 5.6-5.7 range. .5 around 6.3. Realize our traces are different too!
