Tap water question

Hello growers

did anyone tryed to boil the tap water before usage without adding beneficial bacteria supplements ?

boiling should remove all bacteria and therefore i think if u don't put your hands directly in the water solution it will stay sterile ...

There are some that use a sterile enviroment. It is just way more complicated.Btw 30% peroxide does the same thing,just less of a hassle.

well, asking myself what is better sterile or live

also do anyone know this guy "Rumpleforeskin" ? i found a topic where he sends 2 pictures of his roots i mean how i can archive that clear roots do you think he is using B.Bacterias or sterile res ?

i like sterile. kill everything. dutchmaster zone is cheap and easy to use.

A weak solution of sodium hypochlorite is my preference.

Take a 12.5% solution of hypochlorus acid. Dilute it first at 1.8-2.0mL/L ( ~7mL/gal) and then add it to your hydroponic solution at a concentration of 0.25mL/L(~1mL/gal).
