tap water help

water from my tap has 550 ppm. i want to make a 100-200ppm solution for my sprouts.can i mix my tap into crazy amounts like over 1500ppm to make sure i got enough nutes in there?

550 ppm tap water isnt good at all.. It might not even be safe to drink. Best filter that stuff or get some ro water or distilled water.

dont use tap water..mj doesnt like that shit.

Thats some pretty bad water for plants...

You can use tap water , but you need to let it sit out 2-3 days before you use it. That gives it time for the chlorine to evaporate.

I 100% agree....

I used Tap water at first and did my best to adjust the PH values to stabilize it.. Tooooooo Much work.
I buy 1 Gallon ($.99 ) Distilled water from my Grocery store.. PLants LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

usually you can fill a 5gal water bottle for $1.25

That's really bad water my friend. I wouldn't use it. You will almost surely have issues with it. Letting it sit out only evaporates chlorine and won't lower the ppm. In fact it usually goes up a bit because some water evaporates and the dissolved solids are left behind.
