Tangerine Dream questions

About to trade a Purple OG cut for a Tangerine Dream. Anyone grown it? Have any useful information pertaining to growing it? Finish time, nute amounts, yield, smoke report, etc. Thanks guys!

I didnt like the pheno I had. I have heard there is a good pheno, hope that is the one.

Got some going now from a friend and he kept all of it and said it was wonderful .... he pulled at 8 weeks but said he should have went 9 ....mine just hermied at 4 weeks in

I can only comment on the taste from experience. It was a top candidate for my current grow, and if I read enough positive info about I still might grow it in the future, because it tastes as good as it sounds and looks. I visit Barney's coffeeshop sometimes and I always buy a gram tangerine dream that goes straight into one of the volcano vaporizers they have on every table. It has that little bit of extra taste and effect that makes it special enough for me to pay the extra couple of euros per gram. Wouldn't mind having to go on personal stash of TD alone for a few months.

I went with their Liberty Haze because I read too many comments about the TD not being the most accommodating plant to grow (too much variating and longer flowering times than advertised for example). No horror stories, but since I just moved to a new diy hydroponics setup I just went with what I thought was a more safe option. Plus I needed something "shorter" because of limited height and I heard TD can stretch for quit a bit.

Sorry about your luck happy and althor. That long flowering time could be a problem for me sativa. I've been struggling on holding out on this first grow. Only 48 days into flower, but I'm so ready to cut trim dry cure smoke that I'm about to lose it! I guess once I have a bunch of jars it will be easier to wait lol
I'm going to go ahead and give it a try. I'll have a journal for it started in a couple weeks. Gotta wait one more just to let my trade get a little more rooted first.

I have grown this a few times and have jus germed some more at 1 st leaf seedling stage as I plan on 2 months veg then flower over the summer as she can take a bit of heat due to the sativa. If you want the best from TD the include UVB (Cannawizzard has v good info on this) as it really lifts the sativa and gives me a slight psychedelic effect which I really like and very good for creative ideas and energy when u get used to it mind. She is a good yielder ime, fairly hungry when u get a good one smells nice. Takes a bit longer but not too bad for a sat, so I like it as a grower and smoker/vaper
