So here they are, I made a little invention for my soil plant, should work pretty cool. So what should my ppms be right now? WHere could I get a good dwc nute schedule.

Could anyone recommend a feeding schedule, I have gh 3 part and cool bloom. I do not understand the Lucas formula. I have a ph meter and a ppm meter. I have five gallon buckets so like 4.75 gallons of water. I am running them at 650ppms right now, ph is at 6.5.

Dude, atleast make sure the milk crate is centered! As far as your feeding scheduale goes man you could probably find one online really easily or if it was me I would not even be worried about starting up nutrients until you see some Good growth, remember you are working with DWC.... you dont wanna take it overboard by fucking up your plants the first few weeks. and im no expert on hydroponics or anything but I think your PH and PPM is way too high.

Haha, didn't notice that, I will center that for you, its not a milk crate, its one of those things that they put six packs of plants on at the nursery, its going to be perfect for a little individual scrog. That soil plant is the Afghan Ryder kush Auto Strain, my first auto strain so we will see. I put two capfuls of grow and two capfuls of micro and like 5 drops of ph down. I added some floros right above the girls, until they get big enough for the big lights.

Try to keep your ph below 6, PH fluctuates alot over time it will just keep rising. I wouldve started with one capful of each but just keep an eye on them over the week, 650 PPM just seems a little harsh for seedlings to me :/

Besides that man I hope Tangerine Dream treats you well :D ill be watching.

Ok so I changed the water because I think I put too much nutes for seedlings. ANyway My ph and ppms are a lot more in check now. I also started a ph and ppm journal. I also moved the side floros to the middle for veg purposes, I will move them back once we are ready to put the screen on. I added the pantyhose condom over my incoming duct to prevent little critters from getting in, I still get great airflow. I would recommend this to everyone. I love how that cfl light reflector fits perfectly on the second row of that tomato cage. I have a splitter with two bulbs in those.

I think a lot of people either follow the nutrient company's feeding schedule, or kind of draft out their own.

What I did was start with just my base nutes (Basic veg nute) at half strength, work up to full strength, from there start to add in additive nutrients, then after they are used to that high of a salinity I begin to increase my base nutrients higher. Granted, this is just my system, everyone has their own. This process of finding out what kind of feedings you should be doing on a said strain is what people around here call: dialing it in.

I know some growers who don't even have a feed schedule written anywhere, they just know the strains they are growing so well that they know how much they can feed that particular strain at any particular stage without burning them. It's a process, but fun.

sweet thanks man, yeah I am keeping a journal for that reason, I am going to stay with either KK or AKS So I will moniter them to see what they like

Checked the ph and ppms, one bucket went up a bit but for the most part they all stayed the same. They are happy though under those floros.

Seedlings need no nutrients. Do not feed a plant in it's first 14 days of life. When they are ready for food, start off around 300-500 ppm. Your PH can range from 5.1-6.1, with something in the middle as desirable.
