ok so I grew four mothers. clones two of them cuz i thought they were females. saw some hairs. made 30 clones. all but ten of them died (first time cloning.) i used a different medium for one than i did the other, just to experiment. So i go into my grow room today and see that one of my mothers doesnt have the hairs that the other does. hmmm. son of a bitch, its got balls. so i immediately took it out of there and killed it, chopped it up and threw it away. im sitting, pondering this bad luck and think, holy shit, which plant did i grab those clones from? needless to say the surviving ten clones were all from that fucking male plant. sonofabitch. immediately after i ripped clones i put the plants into flower to get a lollipop harvest out of them whilst the clones rooted and vegged for a couple weeks. so now im in a quandary as to what to do. i have two other mother plants in there for a total of three plants. they are all females, one with all the clone sites cut off. they have been in flower for about 4 days now. i put them back on 24 hour light to try to force them back into vegg since i dont think the clones would root in flower mode. is this right or correct? i figure if i can keep them in vegg for another week maybe ill be able to use those clone sites and they will root then. i dont know. or can i just grab clones from them now and try to get them rooted? they have started to grow pistils from most bud sites so i think im fucked. worse comes to worse i have new seeds coming. should i just grow these to flower and start over with the new seeds or should i try to get clones off of these plants? id have a couple months anyways for the new seeds to be ready to flower so i do have time. such a pain in the ass i tell ya. note to all newbies, make damn sure your cloning females or at the very least clone in a tried and true medium so your stock doesnt go to shit. first grow so this is my first major fuckup. next time, i will, be better!
